With more than 30 years of experience, Michele Jaspan is an effective litigator as well as a creative problem-solver. Always cognizant of her clients’ goals as well as their bottom lines, Michele endeavors to find productive and positive solutions rather than creating controversy or prolonging the litigation process.

Overview

Michele’s practice focuses on business litigation and debtor and creditor rights in corporate, reorganization and liquidation cases. She has extensive experience in commercial litigation and chapter 11 reorganizations, representing creditors and trustees as well as creditor committees. She also has a strong background in the area of foreclosure litigation.

Michele has demonstrated her litigation acumen since the earliest days of her practice. Just two years out of law school, Michele single-handedly and successfully argued a very important and complex motion in a bankruptcy case, which is a reported decision. Since then, Michele has forcefully advocated on behalf of her clients in state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey.

Michelle enjoys spending her free time with her family, reading and cooking.
