Cary Fleischer, a Principal with Chuhak & Tecson, heads the civil and commercial litigation practice of the firm. He has extensive experience in a broad range of litigation, including contract disputes, securities law, discrimination, trade secrets, ERISA and antitrust matters.

Cary handles litigation in both state and federal forums throughout the country and is admitted to practice in numerous jurisdictions. Some of his notable litigation successes include:

  • successful $2 million wrongful death claim;
  • the defense of a multi-million dollar merger claim;
  • a $1 million judgment for breach of fiduciary between shareholders;
  • a $4 million settlement in litigation for sale of assets contract breach; and
  • numerous business litigation cases for both plaintiff and defendant.

Although Cary spends the bulk of his time in court, he serves as general counsel to a number of privately owned companies and concentrates on solving problems for these clients before litigation is necessary.

He currently serves as chair of the firm's litigation committee.
