Joseph Santeler focuses on commercial litigation, banking law and tax law. He represents a variety of secured and unsecured lenders in litigation, loan workouts and UCC matters.
Joseph also has experience representing small and large creditors in bankruptcy, lien disputes, commercial foreclosures and other litigation.
He advises the firm's banking clients in lending and operations issues, and has considerable experience defending financial institutions against breach of duty and other fiduciary or UCC-related claims.
In addition, Joseph has experience in general business and taxation matters for corporations, limited-liability companies and partnerships.
He represents individual, business and corporate clients in administrative tax-controversy matters before the Internal Revenue Service and the Illinois Department of Revenue, and has assisted with cases before the United States Tax Court.
