Gary Stern is a Principal who concentrates in estate planning, wealth transfer, asset protection, taxation, corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, mergers and acquisitions, business law, international law, immigration law and contracts.
As part of his estate planning, wealth transfers, asset protection, and taxation practices, Gary has developed and copywritten various "wealth preservation" structures and arrangements designed to increase the level of asset protection for clients from unanticipated liabilities, litigation and creditors.
As part of his international law and immigration law practices, he has developed the “Welcome to USA” program, a comprehensive program of services for Chinese corporations and high-net-worth persons interested in the United States.
Gary also has significant experience in the areas of securities, employee benefits, real estate, trademarks, copyrights, intellectual property issues, small power producer and green power regulation, and secured lending.
Gary has presented speeches and seminars and authored numerous articles to a variety of audiences, including national conventions, on a variety of topics, principally in the areas of estate planning, wealth transfers, asset protection, taxation, corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, international law and immigration law.
He is featured on estate planning and asset protection in the Legal Resource Center of one of Chicago’s leading radio stations, WLS, 890 AM. Gary travels extensively to China and has established a Chuhak & Tecson representative office in Shanghai. He is also a member of the firm's compensation committee.
