Joe Tecson, retired, headed the Government and Healthcare Practices of the firm. He was the municipal attorney for the Village of North Riverside and an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.

Joe held numerous public offices, including service as a commissioner for the Cook County Board of Commissioners where he served on the Joint Committee to govern Cook County Hospital; secretary of the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority; acting chairman of the Regional Transportation Authority; and member of the Illinois Constitutional Convention where he served as chair of the Executive Article Committee.

Joe was also a past director of MacNeal Hospital, served on the board of trustees of Brookfield Zoo, was a member of the Illinois HMO Advisory Board, and was on the board of directors for Metra. Additionally, he was a director of Constitution Mortgage Company and Freedom Federal Savings Bank.

As a recognized governmental and healthcare expert, Joe was frequently asked to serve as special counsel to various government agencies, including the Illinois Department of Insurance, the Medical Disciplinary Board, the Department of Public Aid, the Department of Public Health and the Department of Professional Regulation.
