When it comes to community service, we're inspired to seek out ways that our time and talents can enhance the many communities where we live and work. One high-level attorney, our resident jazz musician and composer, heads up a group that brings jazz to churches and charity events; these accomplished musicians routinely raise money for worthy causes locally and around the world. Another attorney mentors first-year law students to assist them in achieving greater academic success. Still another volunteers her free time leading two Girl Scout troops and coaching cheerleading. Our attorneys and staff give back in countless ways, from serving individually on boards, committees, commissions and charitable foundations to spending personal hours performing service work for Avon’s Breast Cancer Walk, Bottomless Closet, Center of Hope and Greater Chicago Food Depository, to name a few. Collectively, our woman attorneys host a biannual event called Women Helping Women that pours resources into not-for-profit agencies such as Between Friends and Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women’s Network.
Dedication to our community is woven into the fabric of Chuhak & Tecson. It is in our hearts; it is in our souls. We position ourselves to attract attorneys and staff who share these values, and we do what’s right for the communities we call home.
Reaching out makes us better people, and—by offering a depth of understanding for people's needs—it makes us better lawyers, too. It's just one more way that Chuhak & Tecson is right there with you.
This year, Chuhak & Tecson is celebrating its silver anniversary by giving back to the Chicagoland community. In tribute to our client
