Koplan Nwabuoku’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. He has appeared on behalf of clients in both state and federal court, quickly grasping the essential skills necessary to win the hearts and minds of judges, thereby prevailing over frequently more experienced opponents.

Koplan has a passion for learning and continues his legal education through bar association and other professional organizations.

Koplan was a regional champion for the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition and champion of the Ilana Diamond Rovner Moot Court Competition as well as a recipient of the CALI Award for excellence in Trial Advocacy and Constitutional Law.

He is also an active volunteer in the community as an associate board member for the North Side Housing and Supportive Services and provides assistance for the Coordinated Advice and Referral Program for Legal Services (CARPLS). These experiences allow Koplan to further help others in the legal community as well as raise awareness in regards to legal support services for the underserved.

Koplan currently serves on the Associate/Law Clerk Oversight Committee at Chuhak & Tecson. His hobbies include sports, specifically flag football, and the study of international relations.
