Having earned her bachelors in finance and through previous experience working as an analyst at a big bank, Adenike (Nike) Adesokan enjoys approaching transactions from both a legal and business perspective. When helping clients meet their key goals, Nike believes in treating them the way she would want to be treated — with open communication, diligent attentiveness and patience. This mindset and her relatable, down-to-earth attitude have greatly aided Nike in building a reputation as a trustworthy advisor and advocate for her clients.
As an associate in both Chuhak & Tecson’s Banking and Corporate Transactions & Business Law practice groups, Nike works closely with clients in exploring all available solutions to satisfy their needs. She has an extensive knowledge of transactional law and is passionately driven by the knowledge that every closed deal results in a mutually beneficial transaction for both the bank and her client.
As a Black Nigerian woman, Nike finds that one of the most rewarding aspects of practicing law is that it allows her to serve as a mentor, role model and representative for young girls like herself in a field that has traditionally been challenging for the underrepresented.
When she is not providing top-tier service for her clients, Nike enjoys mentoring aspiring attorneys, exploring brunch offerings across Chicago’s vast restaurant scene, and traveling to different locales both domestically and internationally, namely back home to Nigeria and other countries that serve brunch and other delectable meals.
