Hannah M. Clark

Associate

Hannah prides herself on taking the time to get acquainted with each of her clients on an individual level, making sure that she knows them personally and fully understands their goals, wants and needs.

Overview

She believes consistent communication is a top priority and that explaining matters in a clear, concise manner so that all of her clients, regardless of their backgrounds, understand both the status of their legal proceedings and all of their available options, is the key to building trust.

As an associate in the firm’s Estate & Trust Administration & Litigation practice group, Hannah finds the most rewarding part of her practice is knowing that she is helping people in times of need, which are oftentimes accompanied with great despair. Whether it be the process of preparing estate plans or dealing with the death or incapacity of a loved one, the topic of probate often involves sensitive and difficult discussions, and knowing that she can be a resource for someone during these challenging times is a gratifying experience.

Licensed in Illinois and Missouri, Hannah is a graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law with concentrations in both healthcare and intellectual property law. Prior to joining Chuhak & Tecson and moving back to her native Chicagoland, she served as a legal fellow for the St. Louis Metropolitan Equal Housing and Opportunity Counsel, a not for profit organization providing pro-bono eviction defense to keep members of the community housed.

Hannah is committed to providing her clients the best service possible through collaborating with her colleagues to ensure nothing is overlooked, she is utilizing all of her available resources, and all casework is handled efficiently and communicated to the client in a timely manner. She frequently seizes opportunities to further develop her profession skills by attending continuing legal education sessions, closely monitoring the latest developments in case law and learning from veteran attorneys in her practice whom she describes as some of “the best and brightest attorneys in the field of probate law.” Additionally, Hannah champions both business development and philanthropic opportunities for women as an ambassador of the firm’s Women Helping Women program. She is a member of Chuhak & Tecson’s Associate/Law Clerk Oversight Committee.

When Hannah is not busy helping her clients navigate through the challenges of probate law, she enjoys reading, going for a run, engaging with nature, teaching figure skating, attending theater events throughout Chicago and spending quality time with friends and family. She is also a huge fan of all things in the Walt Disney World universe.
