Kristen Hudson appointed to the Illinois Supreme Court's Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission Hearing Board
Chuhak & Tecson, P.C. is proud to announce that principal and general counsel Kristen Hudson was recently appointed to serve on the Hearing Board for the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission (ARDC) of the Supreme Court of Illinois. Hudson’s term commenced March 1, 2020, and extends to February 28, 2021.
As a member of the ARDC Hearing Board, Hudson will promote the ARDC’s mission to protect the integrity of the legal profession, at the direction of the Supreme Court, through attorney registration, education, investigation, prosecution and remedial action.
Hudson is a commercial litigator and serves as co-general counsel for Chuhak & Tecson. She concentrates her practice litigating disputes for businesses and business people. She manages risk and complex commercial litigation in substantive areas including contract disputes, business torts, fraud, the protection of trade secrets and intellectual property rights. She is a sought-after trial lawyer known for effectively advancing her clients’ interests inside and outside the courtroom. She has extensive experience in state and federal courts and appellate courts nationwide and has handled disputes a variety in arbitral forums. Hudson also advises clients on commercial insurance policies including directors and officers liability, professional liability, employment practices liability, general commercial liability, cyber policies and first-party policies.
