Leynee Cruz Flores selected for Illinois' ARDC Equal Justice Rules Committee

Chuhak & Tecson, P.C. principal Leynee Cruz Flores has been selected to serve on the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission’s (ARDC) newly formed Equal Justice Rules Committee (EJRC). The committee was formed as a first step to reaching the goals put forth in the ARDC’s Statement on Racism issued June 29, 2020.

As a member of the EJRC, Flores will examine the state’s professional ethics rules, and the committee will identify and address acts of intolerance by legal system participants. The EJRC will also work hand-in-hand with the ARDC’s internal Diversity and Inclusion Initiative.

Flores leads Chuhak & Tecson’s Estate & Trust Administration & Litigation group. Her legal practice encompasses all areas of trust and estate administration and litigation, including probate and guardianship. Fluent in Spanish and licensed in Florida and Illinois, Flores prosecutes and defends both corporate fiduciaries and individuals in claims regarding competency, breach of fiduciary duty, undue influence and disputes concerning assets. Flores also tailors effective estate plans that meet her clients’ financial goals with the least possible taxation.
