Banking Associate (Transactional)

Chuhak & Tecson P.C., a midsized Chicago law firm, is looking for a banking associate with at least two years of transactional, real estate, institutional lending or corporate law experience providing transactional counsel for all collateral types to join our team! The ideal candidate must possess skills in drafting, reviewing and negotiating all documentation relating to commercial lending transactions. Experience representing financial institutions in SBA 7(a) and 504 loan transactions as well as the ability to close multiple loan transactions is preferred. Other requirements for this position include attention to detail, superior organizational skills, adapting to rapidly changing circumstances and competing priorities with relative ease, and the ability to quickly learn substantive legal topics.

The attorney is also expected to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) and an ability to work in harmonious concert with a wide variety of clients at all levels, including bank officers, management and outside counsel along with peers and staff.
