Chuhak & Tecson's Paulina Garga-Chmiel to present at the Illinois Paralegal Association

Chuhak & Tecson, P.C. associate Paulina Garga-Chmiel will present a webinar titled “Bankruptcy 201: A practical guide for practitioners” as part of the Illinois Paralegal Association’s (IPA) Spring continuing legal education (CLE) Series on April 8 at 12 p.m. The presentation will provide an overview of the fundamental features of chapters 7, 11 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code and clarify basic Bankruptcy Code issues and practical features of bankruptcy litigation. Participants will also have an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of representing creditors and gain practical insight into the bankruptcy court system. Garga-Chmiel focuses her practice on representing lenders in foreclosure litigation, bankruptcy matters, collection actions, breach of contract disputes, evictions and other banking concerns, including loss mitigation. She has managed evidentiary hearings and argued contested motions in both state and federal courts.
