Chuhak & Tecson welcomes two new associates

Chuhak & Tecson, P.C. is pleased to welcome two new associates to the firm: Kara Allen and Mark Johnson.

Kara Allen is a banking attorney with a diverse background in real estate, municipal law, and civil and commercial litigation. She has extensive experience working with both the legal and day-to-day operational aspects of the real estate industry. Kara’s areas of practice include zoning, residential real estate transactions, election law, landlord tenant and business organization. She also has considerable experience in the area of mortgage fraud investigations and claims.

A graduate of Marquette University Law School, Kara is licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin.


Mark Johnson concentrates his practice in banking with an emphasis on litigation. He handles all aspects of civil, commercial and appellate litigation and has served as the lead attorney for several litigation files and appeals. Mark has successfully conducted a large number of bench trials, arbitrations and mediations on behalf of clients.

Mark is a graduate of The John Marshall Law School and is licensed in Illinois.
