Chuhak & Tecson’s banking group recently headed north to show its support for the Greater Twin Cities United Way, serving as a platinum sponsor at the 8th Annual U.S. Bank TCUW Open.

The event served as a fundraiser for Greater Twin Cities United Way, which works to reduce poverty and increase health and education in the Minneapolis and St. Paul communities. Combined with an internal United Way campaign at U.S. Bank, the golf outing raised more than $250,000 for TCUW.

Five Chuhak attorneys represented the firm at the September 19 event: Principals Edmond Burke, Adam Moreland and Eileen Sethna, and Associates Kevin Purtill and Amanda Losquadro. In addition to nine and 18-hole golf outings, tournament participants took part in both live and silent auctions, a reception and an awards ceremony.

“This was a great opportunity for our firm to support Twin Cities United Way in its mission to reduce poverty,” Burke said. “People across the Minneapolis and St. Paul communities benefit every day from the services and programs provided by TCUW.”

Joshua Hyman, principal and head of Chuhak & Tecson’s banking group, was happy to support the golf outing hosted by U.S. Bank.

“I’m proud that we were able to support TCUW through this important event,” Hyman said. “Community service is a hallmark of Chuhak & Tecson, and our attorneys not only live that vision in their personal lives, they have integrated it into their professional lives as well.”
