Chuhak & Tecson welcomes two associates

Chuhak & Tecson, P.C. welcomed two new associates to the firm in 2016: Paulina Garga-Chmiel and Christina Mermigas.

Paulina Garga-Chmiel, a junior board member of the Polish American Association and a member of Advocates Society, joins Chuhak & Tecson as an attorney focusing in banking. Paulina represents lenders in foreclosure litigation, bankruptcy matters, collection actions, breach of contract disputes, evictions and other banking concerns, including loss mitigation.

Paulina attended DePaul University where she received a bachelor’s degree in international studies and public policy. She earned her J.D. from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Christina Mermigas assists large and small businesses in all phases of a business’ life cycle by focusing on corporate transactions and business law. Her practice involves negotiating and drafting all types of commercial contracts, including purchase and sale contracts, leases, and employment, confidentiality and noncompetition agreements.

Christina received her bachelor’s degrees from Seton Hall University in political science and diplomacy and international relations. She earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
