For Margaret Walsh, the keys to success are developing ongoing business relationships with her clients and providing straightforward and practical legal advice.
Margaret concentrates on corporate and commercial transactions, including acquisitions and sales of businesses ranging in size and industry. She is involved in all aspects of business planning, including business formation, ownership structure, succession planning, and contract negotiation and preparation. She also provides counsel on all matters related to general commercial real estate finance and secured lending transactions.
Margaret ensures her clients are served to the best of her ability by collaborating with attorneys both within and outside her practice areas. She regularly attends conferences and writes articles on immediate changes and laws that may impact her clients’ business.
Margaret earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, cum laude. While in law school, she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in International Aviation Law and Policy and International Dispute Resolution.
In her free time, Margaret likes traveling, spending time with friends and family, and sailing. An animal lover, she volunteers at rescues and animal shelters.
