Principal David Shiner presents IRS Collection Procedures

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, Chuhak & Tecson, P.C. principal David Shiner will present IRS Collection Procedures. This interactive program is scheduled for 8:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Illinois CPA Society, 550 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago. Shiner will discuss tax liens and levies and how to defend against them through collection due process hearings, collection appeal requests, installment agreements and offers in compromise. Leader of the firm’s Tax and Employee Benefits practice group, Shiner works closely with his clients resolving tax controversies and structuring transactions that minimize exposure to state and federal estate taxes.
