Principal and Naperville councilman Kevin Coyne discusses suburban marijuana facilities on NBC 5 news

Principal and Naperville councilman Kevin Coyne’s NBC 5 appearance aired at 10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, on Phil Rogers’ segment titled, “As Legal Cannabis Arrives in Illinois, Some Communities Say ‘No Thanks.’” The broadcast begins in Nederland, Colorado, a town of 800 residents without a pharmacy, yet they have with three recreational cannabis dispensaries. The segment continues with a focus on Naperville, Illinois, a suburb voting in March 2020 regarding the acceptance or rejection of cannabis dispensaries within their community.
