Mortgage lending

In sophisticated real estate transactions, borrowers and lenders need experienced attorneys who understand the complexities of the deal. We recognize that, for many real estate projects, time is of the essence. Whether negotiating a complex securitized transaction or documenting a straightforward refinancing, we work closely with our clients to achieve their objectives in what are often very tight timeframes.

Our attorneys regularly represent both parties in conventional mortgage loan transactions, including those involving acquisition, construction and permanent loans. We have broad experience with mezzanine and other lending; participating, syndicated and securitized loans; and secured and unsecured credit facilities. We also represent many borrowers in connection with obtaining loans from conduit lenders. These types of transactions involve detailed knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of conduit lenders.
