Ronald McDonald House

Over the past year, Chuhak & Tecson has supported Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland by collecting and donating aluminum pop tabs. Each pound of pop tabs and other recycled materials raises an average of 55 cents, helping Ronald McDonald House provide that “home away from home” feeling for families with children receiving medical care. Additionally, collections help cover essential operating expenses including utilities, meals and supportive services. Through their network of Ronald McDonald Houses and Family Rooms, they offer more than just a place to sleep — they provide warm meals, supportive common spaces and a community of care that keeps families close to their child during challenging times.

The mission for this charity is simple but inspiring: to ease the emotional and financial burden on families so they can focus on what matters most — the health and healing of their child. By offering these accommodations at no cost, Ronald McDonald House Charities ensures that families don’t have to worry about hotel expenses, long commutes or where their next meal will come from while also having a comforting community to lean on.
