Before joining the firm, she practiced at a national insurance defense law firm, gathering experience in commercial litigation, general and premise, product and professional liability, insurance and reinsurance litigation, toxic tort and hazardous substance matters, construction litigation and labor and employment law. She is extremely grateful for the breadth of experience to which she has been exposed and is thrilled to have participated both in and out of the courtroom and related proceedings. Adrienne has presented at national conferences on critical issues of law and policy, appeared before judges in formal and informal setting on numerous issues and has been fortunate to have worked beside talented and experienced attorneys in litigation and transactional areas.
Adrienne asserts that her sense of meaning and purpose is driven by advocacy – for others, the community and herself. She finds that the law is both empowering and exposes her to knowledge that she can develop into real-time value for her clients. The most challenging aspects of her practice and a valuable constant lesson is recognizing and accepting that a short term set back can lead to an even better outcome. Adrienne employs patience, humor, positivity and open communication when working with her clients and colleagues. She is passionate about getting to know her clients on a personal level so that she can better understand their values to offer meaningful, workable options and enhance their quality of life.
Adrienne received her Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and marketing, summa cum laude, from Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago, and her J.D. degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Bloomington, IN.
When she is not in the office, Adrienne enjoys most anything outdoors. She loves to travel to remote locations, walk Lake Michigan and explore the city. Adrienne also enjoys cooking and entertaining friends for great meals, social gatherings, watching sporting events and hosting movies nights. She spends a good deal of time meditating, reading, watching documentaries and spending quality time with her beloved dad, Alan, and her dog, Rex.
