An Illinois Accredited Paralegal (ILAP), Anne focuses her work primarily on supporting attorneys with the initiation, administration and closing of probate estates and guardianships. She also assists in a variety of other matters, including contested guardianships, probate litigation, trust administration, the preparation of estate tax returns and addressing incidents of financial exploitation.
Deeply empathetic and always prepared, Anne serves as a trusted liaison for clients, guiding them through an unfamiliar process or difficult issue with patience and understanding. She knows that the matters she handles involve both dollars-and-cents concerns as well as personal ones and she takes the time to ensure that both are handled with professionalism and care. While always thorough, Anne also goes about her business with impressive efficiency, recognizing the importance of preserving the maximum amount of an estate’s, trust’s or ward’s assets so that they provide intended benefits and security. Adept at identifying and addressing critical issues and anticipating immediate and long-term needs, Anne is an indispensable resource for attorneys and clients alike.
Prior to joining Chuhak & Tecson, Anne acquired considerable experience as a paralegal for both small and midsized law firms. Befitting her extensive subject matter knowledge, Anne has been appointed chair of the Chicago Paralegal Association’s Trusts and Estates Committee.
