Women Helping Women

In 2009, our women attorneys founded Women Helping Women, an invitation-only, after-hours networking group that integrates business development with philanthropy. Designed exclusively by women, for women, our annual WHW Mix-and-Mingles bring together local women business leaders, entrepreneurs and strategic partners—weaving networking, business development and community service into a single event that benefits not only our attendees, but our community as well.

We partner with not for profit organizations dedicated to helping women, or women and their children. To date, our 15 not for profit partners include such organizations as All God’s People, Between Friends, Jewish Child & Family Services, The Nora Project and the Young Women’s Leadership Charter School. And we’ve collected everything from personal care necessities for homeless youth to school supplies for young women traditionally underrepresented in the math and science career fields—and from business clothing to help women veterans dress for job interviews to multicultural and diverse ability dolls for traumatized children.

To learn more, request an invitation or suggest a future not for profit partner, contact Jane LaGrassa, Manager of Marketing and Communications, at 312.201.3447 or jlagrassa@chuhak.com.
