For Amanda Losquadro, being an excellent attorney is more than just writing effective briefs and documents and winning in court. She also puts a premium on building relationships and delivering excellent service—anticipating needs, identifying potential problems and communicating regularly with her clients.
As a member of Chuhak & Tecson’s Banking group, Amanda is a key player in representing secured and unsecured lenders, from community banks to midsized to large financial institutions. Amanda makes a priority of taking care of clients in a timely and cost-effective manner and looks for ways they can benefit from all that the firm has to offer.
Her practice largely involves workouts, commercial foreclosures, loan modifications, UCC matters, asset discovery and litigation regarding breaches of contract, replevin and other issues relating to banking or creditor rights. She also has experience in general business matters for corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships. Amanda enjoys collaborating with attorneys in other practice groups to expand her knowledge base and bring her clients the most well-rounded service possible.
Recognized in law school for her excellence in legal writing, Amanda was already proving her talent for communications and managing client relationships during her previous career. As an account supervisor for a major pharmaceutical advertising agency, she was part of a team that brought a billion-dollar name-brand medication to market. She also clerked in the office of the Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago, giving her a healthy understanding of how city government works.
Amanda currently serves as the chair of Chuhak & Tecson's Recruitment Committee. Previously, she has served on the firm's Marketing and Finance Committees and chaired the Associate/Paralegal Law Clerk Oversight Committee. Amanda also serves as an ambassador of the Women Helping Women program.
Outside of work Amanda enjoys live music, golf, Pilates and sporting events featuring the University of Wisconsin Badgers or any team that calls Chicago home.
