June 30, 2026
Chuhak & Tecson, P.C. is proud to announce that Jill Tritt has rejoined the firm as a principal in the Estate Planning & Asset Protection and Estate & Trust Administration & Litigation practice groups. Jill brings extensive experience, diverse skill sets and emotional intelligence to her work crafting comprehensive estate plans and guiding clients through the complexities and nuances of estate and trust administration.
Tritt, who was an associate at Chuhak & Tecson from 2005 to 2008, returns to the firm after moving to DeKalb County, practicing there as well to stay closer to home. With a background as a certified public accountant, Tritt is particularly well-suited to developing tax-advantaged strategies in her estate planning efforts as well as in her preparation of estate and gift tax returns. In her estate and trust administration practice, she endeavors to resolve affairs efficiently and expeditiously, preserving and distributing as much wealth as possible for beneficiaries and ensuring that a decedent’s intentions are realized.
Lindsey Paige Markus, leader of Chuhak & Tecson’s 26-attorney Estate Planning & Asset Protection group, says that Tritt’s perspectives as a CPA, combined with her years of working with individuals and families on their estate planning needs, make her a powerful addition to the firm’s already robust and well-established estate planning practice.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Jill back to the firm,” Markus says. “She was an outstanding attorney when she was here before and returns with even more insights and experience that will enhance and expand our capacity to serve clients. Her ability to put clients at ease and provide them with clarity as they navigate the complexities of estate planning only adds to the value she delivers for those she represents.”
Tritt says that there are many reasons behind her enthusiasm for her homecoming to Chuhak & Tecson, including the benefits it can provide clients.
“I am thrilled to be back working with my talented colleagues at Chuhak & Tecson,” she says. “The firm has always fostered such a collaborative, supportive culture and I feel truly fortunate to be a part of it again. The multidisciplinary roster of attorneys across a wide range of practice areas that has only grown since my departure is particularly noteworthy, as it allows me to offer my clients a broad spectrum of legal services from attorneys who share my commitment to delivering the best possible client experience and the highest-quality work product.”
Tritt is a graduate of Northwestern University and earned her law degree from Marquette University Law School.
