Markeya Fowler elected to Board of Directors of Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to Youth

Chuhak & Tecson, P.C. congratulates Markeya Fowler, attorney in the firm’s Employment and Litigation practices, who has been elected as a member of the board of directors of Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to Youth. Markeya will remain a tutor for children from the Englewood and Bronzeville neighborhoods of Chicago.

Markeya is a prolific and accomplished writer and speaker and is ardent about addressing current issues in the law. She is also a member of the Illinois Defense Counsel and chair of its Employment Law Committee.

Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to Youth (LLAH) is a 501(c)3 organization that empowers Chicago youth to achieve academic excellence through individualized tutoring and mentorship. LLAH’s primary initiative is its Lend-A-Hand Tutoring program at the Chicago Bar Association, which provides free one-to-one tutoring and mentoring to students from Chicago Public Schools. The program focuses on literacy.
