Andy Tecson immerses himself in the philosophy, mission and values of his healthcare clients, which allows him to take a comprehensive perspective when guiding them through the ever-changing regulatory climate.

Andrew Tecson is a Principal with Chuhak & Tecson who focuses his practice on corporate law, including legal considerations unique to not for profit and tax-exempt entities, corporate financing and bond issues, administrative law, and healthcare law relating to hospitals, physicians and continuing-care retirement communities.

Andy serves as counselor for senior management and boards of directors in additional industries such as churches, continuing medical education, manufacturing, domestic and international distribution, higher education and environmental services.

Andy has served on numerous boards, including the Cornerstone Foundation of Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois, Community Care Options, Soli Deo Gloria, MacNeal Hospital, Chicago Health Systems, Inc. and The Paul Manz Institute.

He is a composer and jazz musician who plays tenor and soprano sax, and has five CDs to his credit. Andy leads the ChurchJazz ministry, which brings jazz to numerous churches, and he has appeared on many radio and television shows.

Andy has been chair of Chuhak & Tecson’s Management and Compensation Committees and has served on the Technology Committee. He previously served as the practice group leader of the firm’s Healthcare and Not for Profit & Mission-Based Organizations groups.

Andy was honored as Outstanding Community Leader for his philanthropic work by Advocate Christ Medical Center at the Salute 2014 gala.

Andy, an accomplished jazz musician, received the 2012 Seeds of Hope Award from Wheat Ridge Ministries for his dedication to serving others through health, hope and healing.
