Chuhak & Tecson, P.C. represented a member of a limited liability company in a six-year battle. After trial, a jury awarded damages to our client in excess of $8 million and denied claims of rescission and set-off that had been litigated. This piece of litigation involved disputes in federal court and bankruptcy court, and involved multiple parties, including lender and personal guaranty issues. The well-known Chicago family that chose Chuhak for its representation succeeded in all litigation goals in a case that was not able to be settled without proceeding to a full trial in U.S. District Court.
